Town hat shop to close down

A hat shop in Shrewsbury will close down this year with the loss of three jobs.
The Hat Company, based at Shoplatch, was opened in 1999, but managing director Andy Willder said he would not be renewing the lease, which runs out in October.
He said the shops in Chester and York would stay open. “Shrewsbury is the least successful of our three stores,” he said.
