‘Doorstep’ con by pair

Two doorstep conmen targeted a man in his 80s in Mid Wales and stole items from his home.
The incident took place at an address on the A489 in Kerry at 8pm on Wednesday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call Newtown CID on 101.
Antony Topazio, for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Two men entered the house of an elderly gentleman and stole property from within.”
He said the two men were white and in their early 20s. One was about 6ft tall, with brown hair, of average build, wearing a grey sweatshirt.
The other was about 5ft 8in, with brownish hair, stocky and with a darker top.
