Seven hurt in accidents

Tuesday 5th May 2009, 12:45PM BST.

Two people fell off their horses and five were involved in a car crash in separate accidents at a point-to-point event.

The incidents happened at the Radnor and West Hereford Point-to-Point at Cold Harbour, near Leominster, on Sunday.

A medic, ambulance and the air ambulance went to the site after a 17-year-old youth fell from a horse. The air ambulance returned two hours later after a man was reported to have fallen.

Five people were later involved in a two-car collision in Pembridge after they left the event on Sunday night.
