Cup final date for train firm

Train company Wrexham & Shropshire will stop at Wembley Stadium this month so that county football fans can travel direct to the FA Cup Final.

A train will leave Wrexham General at 7.23am on May 30 stopping at county stations before arriving at Wembley at 11.10am leaving plenty of time for people to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere before the 3pm kick-off between Everton and Chelsea.

The company said the service would mean there would be no need for county soccer fans to queue in traffic on the approach to the stadium, or take the Underground.

Wembley Stadium station is just yards from the entrance.
