Detective Inspector Gavin Kinrade, who led the operation this week, pledged there will be no let-up in efforts to track down suspected criminals in the county.
Yesterday in Shrewsbury three men and two women were arrested on suspicion of offences including possession of drugs with intent to supply and handling stolen goods following early morning raids in the town.
Three people were given a criminal caution, one was released without charge, and one man was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
In a joint operation with Customs and Revenue in south Shropshire, police targeted the illegal use of red diesel and kerosene, and six vehicle owners were given the choice between having their vehicles seized or paying a £500 fine.
