Shock county jobs axe

More than 200 jobs are to be axed in Shropshire with the closure of one of the county’s biggest manufacturing plants, it was announced today.
The giant BAE Systems plant in Telford is to be closed and 224 jobs axed as part of massive nationwide cuts announced today.
