Mail talks postponed
Thursday 30th April 2009, 12:27PM BST.
Crunch talks between Royal Mail bosses and a union chief over two county delivery offices facing the axe were today postponed.
Phil Kelly, Communication Workers’ Union representative, was due to meet with bosses at 6am today to discuss the impending closures of offices at Church Stretton and Ellesmere.
But the meeting was postponed until Tuesday due to problems with staff availability. Mr Kelly said he hoped he would then be able to discuss the closures, which staff were fighting, with bosses.
