Stop digging for dirt

computer-officeLETTER: Some years ago I was called in to answer for misuse of my computer.

It was hell until I asked the date and it was revealed I was out of the country at the time. No apologies – just me as a jelly.

A couple of months later I did use the computer, with permission, to gain some information. I went online under the heading I assumed would give the information. I was shocked to find it was a porn channel.

I reported myself to the legal team and the previous misuse was thrown up despite the fact it had been nothing to do with me.

The point I am making, the buck stopped with me.

I know politicians often grab every chance to throw mud at the opposition. What has happened at Number 10, I believe, is once again idiotic behaviour being used to throw mud.

Let the government get on with governing.

Governing? Ah, is that what it’s doing.
