I corresponded with Shropshire Council last Summer re thi problem, and suggested that a steel cradle is installed to contain the rock. This suggestion was apparently dismissed and here we are now 5 rock falls later with the road closed yet again. Will it take a death for a permanent solution to be found?

I cannot believe this has happened again. I live on Sheinton Road near Cressage which is usually very quiet country road. It is now like the M1 as people are using it to cut across despite being access only. This lane mainly does not have any pavements and is therefore very dangerous for people walking as the majority speed down the lane. i think the police should do more to stop this happening before there is an accident.
