Britain's most senior counter terrorism police officer, Assistant Commissioner Bob Quick, who was caught on camera clutching sensitive documents marked 'secret' as he arrived in Downing Street.Britain’s most senior counter-terrorism officer has resigned after making a security blunder – what was your biggest gaffe?

Assistant Commissioner Bob Quick caused an anti-terror operation to be brought forward when he inadvertently revealed secret documents to photographers when arriving for a Downing Street briefing.

    Biggest Gaff, plenty. saying to a old friend when is the joyful day to give birth just to find out she has put a bit of weight on over the last 5 years

    As serious as this case is. It is good that he has taken responisiblity for his mistake. My experience, at work, is that people don’t take responsiblity for their mistakes. To make things worse they don’t even learn from then and continue to make the same mistakes.

    Why is the Press person who made this vital information public not called to book?
    Many of us learn things that perhaps we should not know – but have the good sense to keep quiet about it.
    If only more people in Public Office showed that integrity.
