The power of Phil Collins

Rex M KeySongs often develop as favourites because of their associations.

Genesis entertained me during the long drive home in the early 1980s while working nights in Birmingham.

Follow You, Follow Me is perhaps my favourite track on the And Then There Were Three album, although Burning Rope and Say It’s Alright Joe are evocative, smooth, and (the latter) mellow.

Phil Collins may sound dated now, not surprisingly after 40 years, but his clear power can still be appreciated.
