Rappers to top the bill

decksFormer chart toppers, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, are set to headline the Young Peoples’ Village (YPV) at this year’s Royal Welsh Show.

The Welsh rappers, who have just released their latest album, will perform on the Wednesday night of the show, which runs from July 20 to 23.

Rhys Owen, chairman of Wales Young Farmers Club, who run the YPV, said: “It is hoped that this unique band will attract new and old people back to the village.”

Goldie Lookin’ Chain made the big time in the summer of 2004, with hits such as Guns Don’t Kill People, Rappers Do.
