Trees get the chop

field_treesLETTER: I wondered if I should laugh or cry upon reading the story on March 23 regarding our wonderful wildlife trust planting trees in Shrewsbury.

On the same day it was once again cutting down hundreds of trees in the nature reserve near Pant. This once lovely wooded area is now an absolute mess.

I cannot believe the trust has the interest of wildlife in mind when doing this I fear for any green area this trust gets its chainsaws on.
