County hotel wins top rating

A Shropshire hotel has been classed as one of the finest in the country after being given a coveted award.
The Lion Quays Waterside Resort, Oswestry, has been awarded an AA four-star hotel rating following a recent inspection.
Colin Jenno, general manager of the resort which is located on the A483 bypass near Chirk, said: “We are all delighted and it is the result of 12 to 18 months of really hard work coming together and paying off.”
A spokesman for the AA said four star ratings were given to “high class” hotels with professional staff who respond to your needs.
