I remember the Stars’ story about Pete Docherty – it was quite inconveniently for the newspaper image of him. It came from a woman who gave him a lift, who said what a nice bloke he was..
He does get into some scrapes though, but just how much is colouring of reality by the press to fit steroetype of “The nation’s bad boy of rock’n’roll”? It would be a boring world if there weren’t characters ready to sacrifice their sanity and health for entertainment and creativity though.
