Thursday 26th March 2009, 10:38AM GMT.

Mollie PreeceMillions of people will see a five-year-old Shrewsbury girl have a chocolate fight with show singer Michael Ball and dress up as a doctor with comedian Alan Carr when she appears on the Paul O’Grady Show next month.

Mollie Preece, was picked for the show after Channel Four producers attended her school last year.

They remembered her as a “strong character” and later called her back for an interview.

She has already filmed the show – which will be aired on Easter Monday at 5pm.

Mum Claire Davies, 27, said: “Mollie had to be a doctor for the day and she has a chocolate fight with Michael Ball.

“She loved filming it and got to dress up as a doctor and they treated her like a star and she had her own dressing room. She loved the chocolate fight and was covered in it.

“She wants to be on television.”

Claire said Mollie’s brother Tommy-Lee, nine, and sister Jessica, seven, were excited about seeing their sister on television.

Sundorne Infants’ School headteacher Alan Derry said he was thrilled Mollie was appearing on the show.

He said: “Mollie is a real superstar and an absolute treasure and has a huge personality. I’m sure that will come across when we see her on TV. She is full of life with a beautiful smile.”
