Hereford United in profit

Hereford United have announced an operating profit of £409,048 for the year ending 31 May 2008.
It is the fifth year in a row Hereford have made a profit, accumulating over £1m over the five years.
The turnover at the League One club increased to £2,364,288. Salaries and wages also climbed to over £1.2m up from just over £1m the previous year
Chairman and director of football Graham Turner said: “I feel that the club following good business practices and prudent spending we will be in a better position to withstand any financial crisis that may hit the sport over the next three seasons.”
