Blunder a sign of the times
Sunday 22nd March 2009, 12:01AM GMT.
Our weekly Sunday Supplement podcast starts off with an embarrassing blunder which made the news this week – a plaque at a Shropshire tourist spot which got everything wrong.
Andy Richardson highlights the case of the new sign at Lyth Hill that which had the spelling wrong and its height above sea level way off the mark.
Elsewhere, Sue Austin takes a look at Mother’s Day, with an idea for a shared experience to raise money for charity, while James Shaw looks at Telford Tigers and the new Formula One racing season.
Finally we look ahead to next week’s Shropshire Star, which will include an interview with singer James Morrison.
