Shropshire Star weatherman John Warner said everyone should enjoy the sunshine before the clouds arrived.

“It is certainly becoming more unsettled as we go through next week. There won’t be the prolonged sunshine we have had over the last few days.

“The temperatures have been about 13C/55F which is above average but we have been in the 20s in March before,” Mr Warner said.

“It very nearly got up to 20C in Scotland yesterday.

“Now a lot more cloud will appear but it will be essentially dry with a bit of drizzle tonight.”

Mr Warner said it would be at least another week before the warm weather returned.
