Choir shouting out uplifting message

The uplifting voices of a gospel choir which has performed with Sir Elton John, Tina Turner and Diana Ross are set to fill the air at a Shropshire venue next week.
The London Community Gospel Choir will appear at The PLace, Oakengates, on Wednesday March, 25, 2009 at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £15.50 (£14 concessions).
The choir is embarking on its ‘Shout’ 2009 tour, a show that highlights the singers’ vocal delivery, high-energy dynamic choreography and exceptional musical arangements, contrasted with smooth but intensive soulful renditions.
The London Community Gospel Choir has performed all over the world.
Their credits include performing at Dawn French and Lenny Henry’s wedding, collaborating with artists such as Tina Turner and Diana Ross and performing The Circle of Life with Sir Elton John on the set of The Lion King.
