Pub death is probed

Police are today investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a Mid Wales pub.
Officers were called to the Checkers Hotel in Broad Street, Montgomery, on Friday after a “sudden death.”
Sian George, Dyfed-Powys Police spokeswoman, said: “A team of officers were called to the Checkers Hotel, Broad Street, Montgomery at 10.55am on Friday. We had received reports of a sudden death and found a 59-year-old male had died.”
She confirmed officers are investigating the death.
No-one from the Checkers was available for comment today..
