Clubber’s guide to Broad Street

Broad Street, like a Midlands alternative to the Las Vegas Strip (only much less glam!), packs in yards upon yards of clubs and bars for young, rowdy crowds.

Electro-house club Dragon Eye (hidden away atop the China Restaurant), Bar Risa (at the bottom of comedy club Jongleurs) and The Living Room are all popular, as are chain clubs such as Revolution and Reflex and more established clubs like The Works.

The street is ideal for big nights out, as there are three large hotels nearby – The Hyatt Regency, the City Inn and the Jury’s Inn.

The older, more sophisticated crowds head to BrindleyPlace, just off Broad Street, to relax and unwind in the many canal-side bars.
