Bail after drugs raid

police_04A man arrested during a raid on a Telford “cannabis factory” has been released on bail, police said today.

The 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with a dawn raid at Hadrian Flats, Kingshaye Road, in Wellington, yesterday morning.

About 120 cannabis plants, worth £40,000, were discovered at the flat after a neighbour’s tip-off.

Chris Ammonds, spokesman for Telford police, said the man had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
