Starling spectacle has drawn crowd

Huge flocks of Starlings over the rooftops in Donnington.Richard Camp, editor of The Buzzard, Shropshire Ornithological Society’s magazine, said: “I reckon they are in the tens of thousands at Donnington. What is interesting here is that there is no suitable large area of trees for them to roost so their swarm is split into a number of much smaller flocks which wheel about before diving into individual trees.”
