Newtown have suffered an injury blow with midfielder Gavin ruled out for the rest of the season.
The former Shrewsbury Town man broke an ankle in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Caernarfon Town.
Meanwhile, Newi Cefn Druids bid to pick themselves up for tonight’s crucial home clash with Caernarfon. After crashing 4-2 at home to fellow strugglers Porthmadog last Friday, the Ancients know they cannot afford another loss.
“If we didn’t know before, then we know now that we’re in a real relegation fight,” said joint boss Waynne Phillips.
Striker Mike Heverin is out through work commitments while youngster Joe Price is also missing on Wales under-18 duty.
