Funeral for soldier

Friends and family of a Shropshire soldier who died in a car crash in Wales will pay their last respects at his funeral which is being held with full military honours next week.
Lance Corporal Christopher Beckett, of Larch Wood, Randlay, Telford, died in the crash while taking his two soldier friends from their Cawdor Barracks, Brawdy, to Haverfordwest on Valentine’s day.
Lance Corporal Beckett’s devastated parents, Tony and Margaret, today said his funeral service would be held at Telford Crematorium on Monday at 2.30pm.
All family and friends are invited.
