Sex attack in town car park

A woman in her 20s suffered a serious sexual assault in a car park on a Telford industrial estate, police said today.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have information about the alleged attack, which is said to have taken place in a blue car on Halesfield 19, on Thursday between 4.45pm and 5pm.
A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the allegation.
He has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Detective Constable Allan Black, from Telford police, said: “This is a very serious allegation and we are keen to establish exactly what happened.
“We would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious on Halesfield 19 on Thursday afternoon that could have been connected to this matter to contact us.”
