Welcome to your new look Shropshire Star music page. We’ll be bringing you the best of new music each week, with news, reviews, features, competitions and a special section dedicated to local music.
We’re passionate about music and committed to promoting the best new talent in our region.
We’re also keen to stimulate debate, so if there’s anything you’d like to see, anything you disagree with or anything you love or loathe, simply drop us a line and we’ll do our best to involve you.
We’re also happy to hear your reviews and, in coming weeks, will set aside a section that you can populate with your own content.
Think of it as a Shropshire-sized notice board, where you can leave your comments for others to read and debate.
We’ll be increasing the content of your new-look music page over coming months, with more news on gigs and other local activities and events. We also hope to include free downloads from some of your favourite bands, as well as videos.
We’ll also be featuring profiles of people involved in the music industry in Shropshire – you can email your suggestions.
So, if you’re in a band and want to reach our monthly 125,000 visitors, send us your music and we’ll bring it to the attention of our readers.
Simply email mp3 files, jpegs, biographies and any other details and we¹ll post them online.
We’ll also include your details of myspace pages or youtube sites.
