Gary Numan heading to Wulfrun
Saturday 7th February 2009, 11:34AM GMT.
Synthpop pioneer Gary Numan is making a return to Wolverhampton, with a concert at Wulfrun Hall on April 23.
Numan will be at the Wulfrun on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Tickets are £18.50, plus booking fees.
In the late 70s Numan (real name Gary Webb) was the first superstar of English synth-pop; inspiring a generation of electronic music makers with songs like Are ‘Friends’ Electric?, Cars and We Are Glass.
In more recent years Numan has proved himself a true survivor, reinventing himself as an industrial rock god.
Gary Numan is currently working on a new album, called Resurrection, an album of previously unreleased songs compiled from sessions covering the last three Numan albums – Exile, Pure and Jagged.
