Car crashes into central barrier

A car crashed into the central barrier of the busy M54 just outside Telford, leaving part of the motorway closed causing rush-hour problems for motorists.
Diversions were put in place after the collision, which involved one saloon car on the westbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions six and seven at 5.10pm yesterday.
Police said the westbound carriageway of the motorway was closed from about 5.30pm for a short period.
West Midlands Ambulance Service today said a man suffered back pain.
