Ludlow Rugby Club is celebrating its 75th birthday this year, although we hasten to add that these gentlemen are not from the earliest teams – they are in fact a line-up from the early 1980s.
The photo was loaned by Lawrie Wallace of the club. Birthday celebrations are starting on February 14 with a reunion of former players. Any former players wanting details should contact Lawrie on 07870 588139.

This weeks pictures from the past was of great interest to me. My mother and father were one of the first residence on the cuckoo oak estate. They moved there in 1963 when I was 5. The cuckoo oak estate was built before hills lane and I remember my mum buying fruit and vegetables from a van which came around each week from the local farm as the shops were not built. How times have changed look at this picture no diveways, no cars just gardens and paths. My mother still lives in the same house 40 years later.
