Rail service may be hit

Shropshire rail passengers face delays and cancellations this weekend as a result of industrial action.
Arriva Trains Wales says some of its services in the county may be affected by unofficial industrial action on Sunday. Travellers are advised to make alternative plans for essential travel.
Dennis Baker, Arriva Trains Wales’s human resources director, said: “This action is entirely unofficial and as yet it has not been confirmed that it will take place. Discussions with trade union representatives over the outstanding pay negotiations for train drivers are ongoing.”

Arriva Trains Wales strike again, literally. The Heart of Wales line is wasted while its in the hands of these clowns.
Go on your ‘strike’ then lads, but remember the words ‘Christmas’ ‘Turkeys’ ‘Voting’ & ‘For’ when you’re signing on.

It’s not that easy, it takes best part of a year to train drivers and if the ones on “strike” were sacked Arriva would be unable to run any services (the pay dispute goes back to when Arriva were given a 15 year franchise, this was about 3 years ago)
