Schools rush to close nowadays. Do teachers not get long enough holidays as it is?!

Why are these schools closed? My kids are walking through this snow to New College, if those tutors can make it in, why can’t the rest of them? Utter rubbish! No doubt the rest have problems removing the yellow stripe from their backs to enable work. Gone are the days where a paltry amount of snow made a damned bit of difference to us mortal folk. Get off your butts and get a life I say!

John Smith my wife works at a school in Derbyshire with 1700 pupils where the majority are bussed in. In fact they have their own bus station on the school premises can you imagine having to look after all these children if the buses can not run because of the weather?
