The Fujii family are hoping for a little excitement when they move into their new home in Wellington.

Trudi, Tam and their two children have just been handed the keys to their new three-bedroom house at McInerney Homes’ Maddocks Grange scheme in Churchill Road.

The family are now moving from their current property in Lincolnshire to make their home in the area.

“We live in Grantham and it’s been voted the most boring place to live two years running, so this is all very exciting,” said Trudi.

“I am from the Telford area originally so it’s great to be coming back to the place I grew up.”

The Fujiis decided to move to Shropshire some time ago but trying to sell their place in Grantham was proving tough.

So they contacted a series of agents in the Telford area to find out who would accept part-exchange.

Several homebuilders were recommended but it was the McInerney Homes’ development that came out head and shoulders above the rest.

“I grew up in a village near here,” said Trudi, “but, as this is a bit more of a town, there is much more to do.

“I wanted to be nearer my family and that means my parents can get to see their grandchildren more often, which is great.

Both Trudi and Tam now have jobs in the area – Trudi is a secondary school teacher and Tam works for Telford & Wrekin Council.
