Theatre bosses to reveal ID of guest

Shrewsbury theatre bosses will announce tomorrow the special guest who will open the county’s new £28 million theatre complex at Frankwell.
And the Shropshire Star will be first with the long-awaited news – with exclusive details posted on this website at midnight tonight.

Theatre Severn is Shropshire’s newest addition to the cultural scene. The ambitious project remains on course to come in on budget with its 650-seat main auditorium, the 250-seated Walker Theatre, a dance studio, restaurant and terraces with glorious views of the town.
As well as becoming a hub for local entertainment, the opening of the new theatre will see symphony orchestras and West End musicals from the national arenas coming to Shropshire.
The official opening of the theatre is set for March 25.
