Road closed by oil spillage

Tuesday 27th January 2009, 12:12PM GMT.

A road between Bridgnorth and Ludlow was closed for more than 12 hours following an oil spillage.

The incident happened after a lorry broke down on the B4364 close to Neenton, near Bridgnorth, at 7pm yesterday.

A recovery truck was sent to the scene but also broke down leaking hydraulic oil on the road, which reopened at 10am.
