£30m health work delayed
Thursday 22nd January 2009, 12:33PM GMT.
Work on Oswestry’s £30 million health centre has been delayed by the cold weather. Health managers had hoped building work would start this month.
But Shropshire Primary Care Trust today confirmed it would begin in February.
It follows a delay in the completion of the access road due to the cold snap.
The scheme involved installing traffic signals at the junction and the creation the access road.
Trust spokesman Mathew James said: “It is expected building work will begin on the Oswestry Primary Care Centre the week beginning February 9.”
