Walker finds girl hanged in woods

A teenage girl has been found hanged in an area of woodland in Shrewsbury. The body of the girl, who has not been named, was discovered in woodland off Kingsland Road in the town.
Police today said the teenager was found by somebody walking in the area at 8.40am yesterday.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating and at this stage are treating it as an unexplained death.”
The girl’s age has not been released with police only confirming that she was a teenager, and they have also not revealed where she was from.
John Ellery, coroner for mid and north Shropshire, has been informed of the girl’s death.
A full police report will be prepared into the death.
Formal identification has not yet been carried out but a post mortem examination will take place.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed an ambulance was called to Kingsland Road, near to Luciefelde Road, at about 8.45am yesterday.
An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were called to the scene.
The spokeswoman said the girl was given treatment but was confirmed dead.
She said: “On arrival crews found a girl near a tree.
“Unfortunately despite the best efforts of ambulance crews nothing could be done to save the girl and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”
She said no further details were available about the incident.

She was bullied Anon, and lots of people spread rumours about her, which made her upset. I know this because i was close to her and when the same happened to me she could relate to me.

you will forever be in my heart, i’m sorry i never got to tell you how much i truely love you or say goodbye.
Now you’re gone and i just can’t believe it’s real. I’m going to miss you so much and so are a lot of people. We’ll never properly be able to understand why you did what you did, but i hope you’re happier now.
Heaven has taken you for it’s own, a beautiful angel that we all wish could still be with us.

I didn’t know her personaly, but i knew lots of people that did, i didn’t go the same school as Jess, but still people all round the Grove are in tears and are greaving.
My thoughts are out to her family and friends, she will be missed greatly.
