County date for ex-Happy Monday

Former Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman Shaun Ryder is to appear at a music venue in Oswestry later this month.
The singer will play a DJ set at The Ironworks in Church Street on January 31.
Max Gore, Ironworks manager, said: “As frontman of the Happy Mondays, Shaun Ryder is possibly the most iconic figure from the Madchester music scene.
“It is a big boost to have him play here.
“It has certainly attracted a lot of attention for us and for the town and tickets are selling really fast.
“There are only a few tickets left.”
Ryder was one of the leading names in the music industry in the late 1980s and early 1990s when he fronted the Happy Mondays.
He went on to enjoy more success with Black Grape before becoming a successful DJ.
