Barclays to cut 4,200 jobs

Barclays is due to confirm further job cuts of 2,100, one day after sources said an identical number of jobs were going elsewhere in the company.
inthenews.co.uk understands that 2,100 jobs from the bank’s retail and commercial banking divisions will go.
On Tuesday Barclays sources indicated that 2,100 jobs were also being cut from the bank’s investment banking and investment management (IBIM) arm.
