Warning to offenders

Oswestry police have vowed to take action against youngsters drinking alcohol or smoking drugs in the street.Officers said persistent offenders could find themselves being given an Anti-Social Behaviour Order.
The problems were raised at the latest meeting of Oswestry Town Local Joint Committee, held at the Eastern Oswestry Community Centre yesterday.
Town centre officer Constable Dave Dilnot was told of several concerns during the meeting.
