Warning to motorists

A main route into Shrewsbury is to be closed for two weeks for essential water, waste and gas works on two town roads.
Wenlock Road and Sutton Road will be closed from Monday.
The closure of the routes is expected to cause problems for motorists who will be forced to use the Emstrey Island and London Road.
John Everall, Shropshire County Council’s Cabinet member for environment and sustainability, said: “We apologise for any disruption these works may cause.”
