Schools merger is approved

An independent adjudicator has given the go-ahead to the setting up of two new primary schools in Shrewsbury.
The decision means that the Grange infant and junior schools can now merge, and also the Mount Pleasant infant and junior schools. The move is aimed at tackling falling pupil numbers.
