AFC Telford United started 2009 with a defeat as Stafford Rangers made a winning return to the New Bucks Head.
Rob Smith’s men had been hoping to continue an eight-game winning streak against a side they had beaten away from home just a few days earlier.
But a Dean Craven goal brought that run to an end – and put a dent in Telford’s Blue Square North title ambitions.
