A time to look back and forward

Andy Richardson and Sue Austin look back at the stories making the headlines in the Shropshire Star in this week’s podcast as well as taking a peek at what’s in store next week.

The year started for some on a sombre note, with “bedlam” on the streets of some Shropshire town’s as New Year celebrations turned rowdy.

There was sadness for many, with Woolworths stores throughout the county closing their doors for the last time.

Looking ahead, acting woman’s editor Sue Austin is pulling on her trainers in anticpation of taking part in this year’s London Marathon and she’ll be keeping readers up to date with the trials and tribulations of her training regime.
