Robbery accused is remanded

A 22-year-old man accused of robbing a pregnant woman in Shrewsbury has been remanded in custody by Telford magistrates.
Lee Michael Davies, of Wingfield Close, Mount Pleasant, Shrewsbury, is charged with robbing Rebecca Whitfield, 26, of her handbag, which contained £141.50.
The case was committed to Shrewsbury Crown Court next Monday.
