Telford Tigers fans were in for a ‘smashing’ time when their side squared up to Slough Jets – before a puck had been hit in action.

A shot during the warm-up from import Jason Cassells destroyed a large piece safety glass surrounding the rink in Telford.

Another piece of glass also smashed during the game as tempers boiled over on both sides.

Watch the moment when Jason Cassells eased some of the ‘pane’ of a losing weekend for the Tigers in our exclusive video report.
