Investigations were continuing today into the cause of a huge blaze which ripped through a Telford factory.

Fire investigators were returning to Borgers in Hortonwood following the blaze on Sunday in which tonnes of insulation materials were destroyed.

Only four workers were in the Borgers plant at the time carrying out routine maintenance. They raised the alarm shortly before 1pm at the family-owned German company which manufactures sound insulation for the automotive industry.

Police said there was no suggestion the fire was suspicious.
