Man hurt in attack

A man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a “vicious attack” outside a Shrewsbury takeaway shop.
Three men were arrested following the assault outside Efe’s Kebab Shop in Castle Foregate at about 12.10am yesterday.
The man was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and is in a stable condition.
A spokesman for Shrewsbury police said: “This was a vicious attack which has left a man seriously injured.”
He appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
