Long tailbacks after crash
Thursday 27th November 2008, 2:30PM GMT.
Rush-hour motorists faced major delays today after a smash involving a lorry and a car at the A442 Randlay Interchange in Telford.
Police said a Ford Fiesta had hit the central reservation barrier and a lorry had then gone into the car shortly after 8am.
Nobody was hurt, but the northbound section of the dual carriageway was reduced to a single lane with tailbacks of up to two miles for motorists.
A police spokesman said: “There was damage to the road and so delays were to be expected.”
